Bristol Ensemble launches ‘Future Stars’ scheme

Royal Academy of Music

Education has always been a hugely important aspect of our work in the Bristol Ensemble, and we are constantly looking for new ways in which to help aspiring young musicians, in addition to our outreach work in the community with Preludes.

In order to develop and deliver new projects that bring Preludes and the Bristol Ensemble closer together, improving the orchestra’s presence, visibility and accessibility for the benefit of all local communities, we have started a new partnership with the Royal Academy of Music called ‘Future Stars’.

Each term Bristol Ensemble will welcome an exceptional young musician from the Academy to perform a solo or concerto with us.

Not only will these young players gain first-hand experience of working with a professional orchestra, it is also a great opportunity to share with our audiences the incredible talent coming through the ranks of one of the UK’s most prestigious musical institutions.

Keep an eye on our concerts & events page for details of the upcoming performances.
