The Lark Ascending – In conversation

Writer and broadcaster Andrew Green looks at the background to the composition of The Lark Ascending and talks to guests about the real-life skylark. What is revealed when larksong is slowed down? What threats are posed to the bird’s wellbeing in the modern world? All this, plus poetry and a range of music to celebrate this magical bird.
