The virtuoso pianist Viv McLean returns to Nailsworth to perform Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue as part of a distinctively American programme of music for piano and chamber ensemble, which includes the jazzy, Latin rhythms of Bernstein’s music from West Side Story. Philip Glass’s breakthrough work, music for the iconic film Mishima, and Copland’s lively and evocative Hoe Down complete an exhilarating visit stateside.

Tea and home made cakes served at 4pm.

Tickets £15 (£13 for those on low incomes), available on the door. Under 18s free of charge.
