Bristol Ensemble At Home – Roger Huckle
Bristol Ensemble At Home – free online chamber recitals
Roger Huckle (violin)
Broadcast from Bergen, Norway
Although live public concerts have been cancelled to prevent the spread of infection, our musicians are still here to provide comfort, solace and entertainment for you, through the power of live music.
We are putting together a series of 30 minute live, informal online recitals which you can watch via the Bristol Ensemble’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com.
In the fourth in the series, our founder and Artistic Director, Roger Huckle, performs Bach’s Partita in E major BWV 1006, the last of a set of three sonatas and three partitas, completed in 1720. The work is in six movements: Prélude; Loure; Gavotte en rondeau; Menuet i; Menuet ii; Bourrée; Gigue.
The recital is available for you to watch and enjoy free of charge. If you would like to make a donation to the Bristol Ensemble*, you can do so by clicking the link below or by visiting www.easydonate.org or by text:
We hope you enjoy the music and we look forward to welcoming you back to our public live performances very soon.
