Charlie Groves (Music Educator with Preludes, songwriter, composer)

In this recital, the music educator Charlie Groves will share original material, both serious and light-hearted, and talking about what has inspired its creation. Charlie is part of Bristol Ensemble’s Preludes team, working alongside Preludes leader Penny Rawlings and other colleagues in Bristol primary schools for 10 years. He also works part time as Assistant Music Director of National Open Youth Orchestra.

Charlie’s recital includes original songs Slow Down, Our love came home and Knees, as well as the piano pieces I will not forget you, Sorrow, and Family, and school songs Jack Frost and Let me out.
