Bristol Ensemble At Home – Oliver Wass

Bristol Ensemble At Home – free online chamber recitals
You are invited to enjoy our series of 30 minute informal online recitals and talks which you can watch via the Bristol Ensemble’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com.
Oliver Wass (harp)
Oliver Wass studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and is the only harpist ever to win the Guildhall Gold Medal, the Guildhall’s most prestigious prize. Previous winners include Jacqueline du Pré and Bryn Terfel. He has performed all the major harp concertos, including Lyra Angelica with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto at Wigmore Hall, and has directed Handel’s Harp Concerto in B flat in the Barbican Hall. He has won international competitions in Italy, Hungary and the UK.
In this recital, Oliver will perform Prokofiev’s only work for solo harp, the sparkling Prelude in C, alongside Debussy’s most famous and magical work, Clair de Lune, and Posse’s colourful The Carnival of Venice Variations.
The recital is available for you to watch and enjoy free of charge. If you would like to make a donation to the Bristol Ensemble*, you can do so by clicking the link below or by visiting www.easydonate.org or by text:
