Handel Alexander’s Feast

Bath Minerva Choir’s Spring Concert in St Swithin’s features the baroque magnificence of Handel’s delightful Alexander’s Feast. One of the most varied and sheerly beautiful of Handel’s oratorios, this work puts choir, soloists and orchestra through its paces as the whole gamut of emotions is depicted at the famous feast. They include Handel’s wonderful Harp Concerto no.6 and the Concerto Grosso Alexander’s Feast in the evening, and their young team of soloists will feature some of the brightest talent to emerge recently on the UK scene.
